My name is Scott Hamelin and I have over 26 years of experience as an OT. I earned my Masters Degree in OT from Shenandoah University. I knew early on that I loved working with children so I did my masters thesis project on using assistive technology to improve the lives of children. I am a very family centered person. My best friend is also my wife (Carrie Duckworth), who is Functional Therapy Solutions OTA. We bring a unique wholistic family centered approach that offers both a male and female perspective. Please feel free to look her up on the matrix to see what additional qualifications she contributes. I have worked with children of all ages in school, home, outpatient, and hospital settings. Here are just a few of the diagnoses that I have expertise in: Autism, CP, Downs, Behavior Problems, and Developmental Delays including feeding/swallowing difficulties. We work with children on a full time basis and if given the opportunity to serve your family we would treat you like our family. Providing Face to Face Services in Mineral, Hampshire, Hardy, Grant, Tucker, Preston, and Monongalia, and Virtual services in all other counties. |
