I've been an occupational therapist for 28+ years;25 years working with children. Some areas of my experience include,but are not limited to: Autism/PDD (including training with the Early Start Denver Model), Developmental Delays, Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedic Impairments, Feeding/Oral Motor Issues, Vision Impairments, Sensory Processing Disorders, Brain Injury, Brachial Plexus Injuries, Prematurity, & use of Assistive Technology. I have ADVANCED training in the area of Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) & and the ESDM model for individuals with autism. I was born and raised in Mercer Co. and returned here after college. I have 4 children, so I understand the challenges parenting brings. There's no more important job than making a difference in the life of a child. I've been blessed to serve many wonderful families through Birth to Three & would consider it an honor & privilege to work with your family during such an exciting & critical time in your child's life. *Evaluation and Assessment-BOTH Face to Face & Telehealth (I am available evaluations in Fayette, Raleigh, Greenbrier, Raleigh, & Greenbrier Counties via Telehealth and CVI Evaluations outside of the areas listed throughout the State of WV. Whether it is by F-F or Telehealth depends on the area of the state). I returned to providing face to face visits in July 2020 & provide telehealth visits by request only. I feel like working directly with your child is best practice and provides the greatest results. |
